Toyota Corolla Cross 2023 relies on fifth-generation hybrid architecture, shares the core of the Corolla Hybrid sedan, and offers four-cylinder electric assist with greater speed and flexibility.

The 2023 Corolla Hybrid still combines a 1.8-liter inline 4-liter petrol and a lithium-ion battery pack, though it will already be fitted under the rear seat, creating more comfort by reducing the center of gravity and more space in the trunk.

The 2023 Corolla Cross will be equipped with an updated Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 driver assistance kit.
