Within the framework of the event, the social enterprise of the year was revealed. From the three enterprises that passed to the final stage: "Leader", "Tene" and "Dediko", according to the decision of the jury, the victory went to social enterprise "Tene". The winner received the status of social enterprise of the year and a monetary award.

The sponsor of the event "Toyota Center Tegeta" presented the award to the social enterprise "Leader". The tailoring enterprise "Leader" located in the city of Gori combines two social goals. The enterprise takes care of empowering women with social needs living in Shida Kartli and also works to reduce textile waste by recycling it.

Nino Giorgadze, founder of social enterprise "Leader":

"Through our enterprise, about 400 women acquired a new profession and were employed. Regarding the reduction of textile waste, in 2022 we turned 10 tons of textiles into new products and sold them. The support of the private sector is very important for the development of our activities. We think that "Toyota Center Tegeta" will set an example for other companies to promote social enterprises and increase their awareness.

Empowering women and caring for the environment are key values ​​of Toyota Center for Tegeta. The company is actively involved in environmental projects and constantly strives to support the increasing role of women in society.

The event was organized by the Alliance of Social Enterprises for the eleventh time this year. Its purpose is to popularize the concept of social entrepreneurship and introduce innovations in the field.
